Goccco

Born as a spin-off of on°C, Goccco is a program where kids turn what they want to do into a real business and actually sell it in town. Adults support them with everything they've got — making that simple experience possible.

Shaping your own values into a business, and putting them out into the world. That experience draws out learning from children that far exceeds what adults would expect.

One episode has stayed with me. A boy who had been running a game of chance told us after the event: "I'm not doing this business anymore." When we asked why, he said: "My friend's customers left happy. Mine left looking frustrated." His sales that day were about the same as his friend's — but he had discovered, on his own, that there's a value beyond money.
