Community Space
The Story
on°C (Ondo) is a collaboration space co-run with local Sasebo businesses, connecting the town with students. In an open space overlooking the Sasebo River, unique events are born one after another — from "Intern Clinic," where students with top company offers coach local CEOs on the latest hiring trends, to "Battle the Boss," where executives and students face off in impromptu slide presentations.
The space is also regularly used as a student study room and community kitchen, serving as a hub for empowering young people in the heart of Sasebo.
The space is co-run by three organizations: handon Inc., Hibi Kenkyusho Inc., and Saikai Mizuki Credit Union. Several local businesses support operations as "On-bu" — official on°C sponsor companies.
