What began years ago as an informal, irregularly-held programming study group with local business owners and students — focused on practical social implementation — has evolved into a monthly program. Starting this April, participants now meet regularly to learn and teach each other the latest agentic AI tools, with Claude Code at the center, catching up with agent AI that has entered its practical phase.
Regional cities have always been prone to falling behind in technology and information. But in this age of AI, a lag of even one or two years could prove critically damaging for local businesses and students. To prevent that — to keep the community from sinking — we urgently need to grow a circle of people who learn the latest AI together and spread that knowledge outward.
